Waiting For Dad
I was waiting for my dad to pick me up that night after track and field practice. I noticed that he didn't reply to my text, which is odd for him, but I decided to blow it off. Twelve minuets later I was getting worried so I texted him again. I got an answer this time. "Be there soon don't worry" He said. So I waited. He finally pulled up in the school parking lot. I walked to his car and got in. "So, how was practice?" He said "It was fine...why didn't you pick me up at 5:00 like you said?" I knew he had to work late but he was supposed to get off at 4:00. "I just got distracted with work and I forgot that I was supposed to pick you up at 5:00. I'm sorry Jen." I frowned and turned to the window and watched the school fade away behind the trees.

Mask In The Dark
I was sitting on my bed listenig to music and texting some friends about this awesome new movie I saw the day before. I was hoping they liked it as much as I did. while waiting for a reply from them, I looked out the window and gased at the moon that brightly lit the sky. Some time had past by without me knowing and I had totally forgot about my friends replying. I turned around to garb my phone
when suddenly I saw a flash out of the corner of my eye. I looked out the window to see what it was. I froze with terror as I met eye to eye with a boy in a mask. The mask black with bright green stripes going up and down the mask. It almost looked like the stripes where glowing. He wore a black hoded jacket and had hair sticking out in the front. I looked closer and saw that he had no eyes, they where
black holes where they should have been. I tryed to move away but I couldnt. I closed my eyes and suddenly I could move again, I moved to my covers and pulled them over my head and waited for the next day. When I woke up I lifted the covers off my head and got ready to got to school. When I went to go to my car I saw something in the grass. When I got closer I screamed. It was the mask that I had saw last night, and then I knew it wasn't a dream.
